"The Fairmount Boys" are a 5 piece band that performs good time rock and roll. They perform classic rock and dance hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. They are available to play any event big or small. They can be hired to play on their own, or play alongside Jake Matthews` DJ service

The Fairmount Boys have been around the Stark County area for over 20 years. The original name for the band was The Blues
Rockers Playing mostly blues the band played at the Canton Blues Fest, the Cuyahoga Blues Fest, the Jackson Food Fest and many
other events including H.O.F in the Stark County area. The band has opened up for legendary singers Eddie Money & Donny Iris. The band
changed their name in 2008 to pay homage to the school in which they all attended, Fairmount, in Canton, Ohio. The lead singer, Jake Matthews,
is the newest member of the band, joining in December 2008.
